Gray Size
The colors symbolize the emotions, so much so that their influence on our thoughts and make us perceive things differently. Through the ages, colors were given to different connotations, sometimes led by natural phenomena, while others by their associations separate with certain elements. Gray is a mixture of two colors with properties exactly opposite and therefore carries the qualities of both. White and black colors in varying combinations, giving various shades of gray. White is a color that reflects light and appears brightest. By Therefore, the symbolism of the color gray is associated with abundance and lighting. Black, on the other hand, absorbs all the light and reflects nothing. This makes the color of the occult and nothingness. The two constituent colors of gray have the effect of cons-balance each other attributes. Therefore, it is strongly associated with balance and neutrality.
"Gray Zone" is a term used to describe the dark elements, which can not be regarded as positive (symbolized by the white) or negative (symbolized by black). Gray is related to sadness and discouragement. This interpretation is derived from the few gray clouds in the sky that prevent sunlight from reaching Earth, thus creating a depressing atmosphere. Artists through the various sects of the paint used the gray skies to highlight the misery and feelings. Renaissance painters used the shades gray paint for clothing of the peasantry, the bourgeoisie and the poor, who were a true representation and a technique to highlight other important aspects of their works. The holy men and hermits of the Elizabethan era in England also, used clothing gray to signify simplicity. Gray has been a popular choice for European painters of the creation, under the paint, which paint a monochrome base used as basis for painting full of color. In European nations, the symbolic color of gray called mourning, death and lamentation, because of the color of ashes. Interpretation Gray is biblical repentance, selflessness, purity of thought, fasting and worship. It is linked with the season "on loan" (days immediately preceding Holy Week). Gray is universally symbolic of intelligence because of its reference to gray neurons in the brain. Gray can be used in combination with different colors. The color in these cases derives its essential character of the other colors used. Gray depicts color individually formality, sophistication, seniority, respect, experience, wisdom, reliability, tradition, security, the life of vegetation, lack of distinction, feelings, loss, dirt and pollution.
