Recipes for boys to take in the North?
My boyfriend and about 10 of his buddies go on an annual July 4th trip to the north and I would Then make homeade goodies to take with them, but I do not know what to do this year. I always throw in some cookies and other stuff … but does anyone for ideas easy to travel cravings for them to take with? (They are 24-26 … and will have a testosterone and beer-filled trip) Thanks:)
If you have time, guys like jerky. You can not go wrong with that. You may need to double or triple the recipe for that much testosterone Beef Jerky 1/2-cup soy sauce 1 tbsp Tea 1 tsp liquid smoke Tea onion juice (Best made in a juicer – about 1 / 2 medium onion, juice) 1 c. tsp chopped garlic 1 tsp Tea-salt 1 lb. lean beef, trimmed and cut into 1 / 4 "thick strips of 1''de In a large resealable plastic bag, combine all ingredients, marinate at least 3 hours in refrigerator, swinging the bag to distribute marinade all drain and dry at the time-hydrator If you do not de-hydrator oven set at 145 *- 180 * Line the bottom of the oven with paper foil or cookie sheet to catch drippings Arrange the strips of beef crosses on the racks allow anywhere from 6-24 hours dried for long term storage (it does not last long with us) to keep jerky in airtight plastic bag in the refrigerator or freezer Jerky can be stored, tightly sealed, at room temperature for about 1 month Tips Remember fat does not dry and can later turn rancid if is not removed, the longer you marinate, the more flavor if you are unsure if the jerky is dry enough, place the jerky in an oven 200 * preheated oven for 30 minutes Chex Party Mix 1/2-cup butter or margarine 2 c. Tea seasoned salt 5 c. Tea Worcestershire 2-2/3 cups rice Chex 2-2/3 cups pretzel 2-2/3 cups Cheerios 1 cup peanut-Franks hot sauce Preheat oven to 250 * in a roasting pan, melt margarine in Stir oven in seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce Add the remaining ingredients, heat in oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes about 9 cups
