Skiing (Rossignol Zenith Z9) sizes?
Apparently, the sizes that are available include the 162, 170 and 176. the last pair of skis that I used are the 05/06 Volkl Supersport Allstar 175. im 5'11 "and weighs 168 pounds. because these are oversized rossi, I feel that the 176 may be a little large. advantages and disadvantages of these lengths? any comparison between the Supersport and zenith? thank you!
I not had the chance to ski the SS, but I demo'ed last winter z9 for about 2 months and loved them. I own atomic metron and skied z9 very similar to them. The only difference is that the belt is closer to the z9, thus better to start a rotation with turns. Not a great Ski powder to reduce the size but it will be OK if not too deep. Great groomer ski1! I skied the 170 and it was a perfect size, I am 6'2 "150 pounds and the 176 was too much skiing last winter, but I put on about 25 pounds this year and is probably the most long, so I had to buy the z9.
