How can I make my snow pants shorter in length?

I bought nice i TAPE special blend of snowboarding pants but they are a little long. if I put them in the washing machine in hot water with the water, do you think they will be shorter?

No you can not reduce hot water but you can destroy the waterproofing. Your pants are made of synthetic materials as opposed usual narrow natural fibers like cotton and wool. You really have three options: return and find a pair shorter; attempt to hem them to mess up any snow skirt that could be in the legs and then will certainly nonreturnable or grow.
