What is the -9, -10 softball bats figures mean?
I watch the bats fastball WORTH TITAN FastPitch (-9) and Wörth TITAN FastPitch (-10) What are the negative numbers? Do they have a name? (Like what you call this number) and if you have a site that explains everything that is Thank you too much =]
The number that you see on bats refers to the length of the bat (in inches) subtracted from the weight (in ounces). So if you have a bat as long as 28 inches weighs 20 ounces you would a bat -8. http://www.theinternethittingcoach.com/baseballbat.html
