Can my PC run STALKER and Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion at 20FPS?
Can my PC run STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl and Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion at 30FPS?
Question Details: Hi I hate to run games lower than 30 FPS.
I PC is running a ATI Radeon 9600 PRO 256MB 8X AGP
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
1GB DDR 400 Dual Channel (512×2) dual channel mode.
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum.
AOC 19″ Widescreen LCD.
XP PRO
Now I like to run my games at 1280×768 resolution in 16:9 ratio mode this settings looks great on my monitor.
What I want to know now is can my PC run these two games at 30 fps I don’t mind setting the effects detail and mesh detail and shadow on low. I’ll even put the shadow on off.
I really need to know cause I am getting these games later and I live in the West Indies and PC parts here are kinda expensive considering you spend most of your frecking money on food. hmm thats why they say God Bless USA. Now I know.
anyways anyone here can give some info here?
I’m not sure. Maybe if you turned the “eye candy” off. The new games need some serious hardware in order to get 30+ FPS. Your system looks like a close-call to me.
