Does buying a smaller front sproket for a dirtbike give it a higher top-end speed?

I have a 06 Marshin 150 and it has plenty of power but is geared really low and i ride in more open areas were a higher top-end speed would be nice but i have a low budget and would like to know if a smaller front sprocket will increase top speed if it does i would like to know were i could find one cheap.

Up in front…..down in back…..but for every bit you gain at the top end …..you also lose power in the bottom end. Where it is needed for quick starts. If you do go up in front…go up by only one tooth. Try these guys out….they can help you if anybody can.
